Reiki is my favorite energy healing modality. I’ve been using it for years. I loved it so much I became a Reiki Practitioner myself.
So what is Reiki Energy Healing?
Reiki is a Japanese healing modality. It is a form of energy therapy. It is the practice of using universal life force energy, channeled by the trained practitioner, to aid healing. It can be used to target specific areas of your body, chakras, and energy blocks that may be holding you back from taking action on your goals. It helps clear emotional, mental, and physical blockages and contributes to your spiritual growth.
What is a Reiki healing session like?
Reiki can be practiced both in-person and remotely. Typically when you enter a session, you will have a focused intention or something you would like healed, which you share with the practitioner. Your job is to lay back, relax and receive the universal life force energy flow through you.
You might feel tingling in your hands, warm or cold rushes. All of this is normal. You can even experience quietness in the mind or beautiful insights. Ultimately you feel a sense of relaxation and clarity.
I find that a lot of my clients experience similar feelings during some meditations. It can be interesting for your first time because you’re just lying there and you don’t know what to expect, but most of my clients report feeling relaxed.
We could all use more relaxation with everything going on in the world. Am I right?
On the side of the practitioner, we channel universal life force energy to your body, focusing on the area of the intention. I personally like to focus on the chakras. I clear what needs to be cleared and power you up.

If you are emotional about everything going on, or stuck in your mind, or experiencing physical pains, relieving these distractions will increase clarity and focus. Clearing out any distractions that are getting in the way of you stepping into your most clear, focused, and balanced self will help you focus on your goals.
Receiving Reiki is like getting an energetic massage. It can clear stuck energy that is causing physical and emotional distress.
When you are in a relaxed space— you clear what’s holding your back—you can go forward with whatever you want to create.
